| - put 'em up dnb on thursdays has become a summer-long past time. the crowd varies week to week as much as the people who inhabit it. one week.. doh-mai thugstas, friends lil sister or brother night, ugly night, typie night, "dress like we're going to On Broadway" night, etc, etc. trust..its gets tiring, but if you limit your visits, you tend to have a better time. that was the case last night. a couple of weeks ago i showed up for a hot second, but this time I actually met up with Brian and Cin, Marc, Stacy (the reason we came), her friend John..and eventually Joce and Juanice.
Good times to say the least. Its nice to hang out with people you don't normally see. If you see them too much.. you'll tend to take your friends for granted. I think thats the good thing about living in Temecs. I can go home everyday and do my own thing, but when its time to go out, I really want to go out. I see people that I haven't seen in awhile, and to tell you the truth, you enjoy their company that much more. Drink after drink after drink.. I want to say 3 long islands, 1 shot of petron, 1 adios, 1 long beach, and i finished Janice's beer. I felt good though, it sounds like a lot, but I had a shit load of sushi for dinner right before.
The point of the story is that it is ok to take a lil hiatus from the scene. True friends will understand if you need time alone. No guilt trips. Although some of us constantly need company, which is not necessarily a bad thing, its ok to break away for brief moment. Mostly its time to think, its a time to evaluate your status in life, reestablish your short or long term goals. Just thinking alone about that stuff can make the most drama-free person feel a little emo.. but you know.. when it comes down to it, no one lives your life for you. take your time, cause it is OK.
peace out negroids! |
